Jibrael Alsooz is a rising and in demand Performer, Arranger, and Educator based in Arizona. He has wide experience with different genres of music such as Classical, Jazz, Funk Mariachi, Latin, Rock, Bluegrass and anything in between, making him a versatile musician for any situation He spends his time preforming between Tucson and all of the Phoenix area sharing his musical abilities with others. Jibrael spends most of his time playing Lead Trumpet in Jazz Band, Pits, Rock Bands and Latin Bands He also performs with several symphonies such as the Chandler Symphony Orchestra, Scottsdale Philharmonic & Tucson Pops Orchestra.

In addition to being an active performer Jibrael is currently earning his Bachelor's in both Music Education and Jazz Studies at the University of Arizona. He has played in the top ensembles at the University such as the University of Arizona Wind Ensemble, The Arizona Symphony Orchestra, University of Arizona Honor Choir, University of Arizona Trumpet Ensemble and The Studio Jazz Big Band.

Whether it be through his playing or his education philosophy Jibrael carries forward the ideas of his teachers and mentors in the execution of his work with great detail and passion. Some of his teachers are Dr. Angelo Versace, Brice Wiston, Jason Carder, Bruce Gates and Kenny Rampton.
