Jibrael Alsooz is a rising and in demand Performer, Arranger, and Educator in Arizona. Jibrael spends his time working between Tucson and all of the Phoenix area sharing his musical abilities with others. His primary instrument is Trumpet but plays an impressive variety of wind instruments, including Trumpets, Trombone, Clarinet and Saxophones. He also plays Guitar, Bass (Upright and Electric), Banjo, Ukulele and Piano. Jibrael has wide experience with different kinds of music such as Classical, Jazz, Funk Mariachi, Latin, Rock, Bluegrass and anything in between, which makes him a versatile musician for any situation. Jibrael Spends most of his time playing commercial trumpet in Jazz Bands, Pits, Rock Bands and Latin Bands While also maintaining a chair in several local symphony orchestras.

While his performing is his greatest passion, Jibrael is also passionate about taking that experience and sharing it with the next generation of musicians. Jibrael is growing a private studio of beginners to early college students, enhancing their skills and not only teaching the music, but the skills necessary to survive as a working musician. Currently, his students are winning state competitions and top positions at university auditions. For Jibrael, the education side of music is equally as important as the performance as he has spent years studying pedagogy of jazz, theory, arranging, and trumpet fundamentals to be able to give the best educator he can be.
